The Mooreland Companies have evolved from a multi‑faceted land development and residential construction company into a hard‑asset development company focused on the development, construction and long‑term ownership of revenue‑generating assets.
By focusing on specific market opportunities that are infill, brown‑field or otherwise challenged, Mooreland is able to identify unique value‑add parcels often missed by others. These opportunities are always backed by strong demographic demands as defined by life‑cycle spending curves, market trends and growth patterns.
There are two basic forms of entitlements in the market place today: the traditional Land Use Rights (Zoning) and the newer Financial Entitlement.
Once the target parcel has been fully Zoned and Entitled, the project enters into the Acquisition phase. Mooreland has acquired in‑depth experience in all manners of Ownership, whether it be through outright cash purchase, bank financing, Seller Financing or a Joint‑Venture Structure with the current Owner.
